Well, this is not my first official foray into the world of blogging, however it is the first time it will be presented to "the world." I'll admit I'm concerned that I will sound ignorant in my writings, so please forgive me if my mind works faster than my fingers and/or proper composition.
I am excited about this class. I was concerned going in, but I believe it will be a useful and interesting experience. I am looking forward to "surfing" with a goal again. I am concerned about myself being a procrastinator. I'm really going to have to keep myself on a schedule this quarter as I do tend to put things off until the last minute. Especially when I don't HAVE to check in on them daily. For a long time after graduation, I did not have an internet connection at my house (about 2 years) and I got along fine. My friends hated coming to visit...but hey. :-) Anyhow, that lack of connection has continued somewhat in that if it's not immediately necessary for me to be on the internet, I'm not. Thus my concern for this course. Hopefully all will go well and such issues will not haunt me for the next 10 weeks. Here's hoping!
You can only hope that this course doesn't turn you into an internet geek like me. Glad you found XtraNormal potentially useful... you might also look at Voki a similar site that may allow you to do what you want.
